The White House "recovery plan" starts and stops with public relations -- but we owe it to Katrina survivors, and every American, to get serious about rebuilding New Orleans and the Gulf coast.

Tell the Republican leadership:

1. Rebuild the levees to withstand another Katrina

2. Focus on rebuilding schools and colleges, and

3. Extend unemployment benefits to displaced Gulf Coast workers.
