Hold Corporate Interests Responsible: Stop the Flawed Asbestos Legislation



The Senate is now considering flawed Asbestos Trust Fund legislation that provides no reliable guarantee of fair compensation while shutting courthouse doors to asbestos victims.

Asbestos is the most lethal substance ever widely used in the workplace. Yet this legislation would shut the courthouse doors to these asbestos victims long before the Trust Fund will be able to pay their claims.

Any Asbestos legislation that would shift more of the financial burden onto the backs of injured workers is unacceptable to me and should be unacceptable to every member of Congress.
